Frequently asked questions
Start here.
Most issues can be solved in under a minute.
Where can I find the rules?
Before starting, tap How to play on the Setup screen. During a game, tap ••• in the header and choose How to play. You can close the rules and continue from the same point. A discussion timer pauses while the game menu is open.
Where are “My words” saved?
Player names, settings, and My words are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not uploaded or synced to an account. Custom words appear exactly as entered and are not translated automatically.
My words is a Premium feature. Add at least five words, then select My words as a category or include them through Mixed. Deleting the app deletes locally stored words; version 1.0 has no cloud backup or export.
Why is “My words” not available for play?
- Confirm Premium is unlocked.
- Add at least five custom words.
- Select My words as a category, or enable Mixed.
Adding words and selecting them for play are separate actions.
The Premium price is not loading. What should I do?
Connect your iPhone to the internet, open the Premium screen, and tap Refresh store info. This reloads the price and purchase status; it does not buy or restore anything.
If the price still does not appear, reopen the app, try another network, and try again later.
How do I restore Premium?
Who handles payments and refunds?
Premium is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Apple processes the payment, issues the receipt, and decides refund requests. We can help troubleshoot missing Premium access, but we cannot view card details or approve an App Store refund.
Request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem using the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Does the game work offline?
The main game works offline. Internet access is required to load the App Store price and to purchase, verify, or restore Premium.
Can I leave a game or check the rules without losing it?
Tap ••• during a game to resume, open How to play, or leave after confirmation. An active game is not restored after the app is force-closed or restarted in version 1.0. Saved names, settings, and My words remain on the device.
